About calibration at Carglass® centers
Carglass® will not only replace or repair the car glass, but will also calibrate the cameras integrated into the windshield, i.e. ensure that the advanced driver assistance systems integrated into the windshield function properly and help the driver avoid incidents on the road.
If the car windshield is equipped with ADAS (Advanced driver assistance systems), the cameras must be calibrated after replacing the glass. Even the smallest 1 mm error in the camera angle can affect a significant deviation from the lane and create a danger on the road.
Calibration is a precise and responsible job that requires professional skills and competence. Carglass® specialists are accredited by the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry), and only certified equipment and technologies are used for calibration.
